In the last 18 months, following Busted's split, we've seen Charlie's venture into the depths of emo with his new band Fightstar, and the power-punk of James' new band Son Of Dork. Now Matt Willis, third and final ex-member of the historic boy-band-with-guitars, steps forward in his own right as a solo star with his debut single, 'Up All Night'. An exhilarating mix of Def Leppard-style guitar riffs, pounding percussions, and a vitriolic vocal performance from Matt, 'Up All Night' is an athemic and blistering tale of rock 'n' roll at its best.

Since Busted decided to call it a day last year, Matt Willis has been busy writing and recording in such glamorous places as Brussels and Southend. His debut album was written and produced with Jason Perry and Daniel P Carter, formerly of the band A, and their friend Julian Emery. It is chock full of monster tracks, with a sound that Matt accurately describes as "Stadium pop" - think Robbie, Green Day and Van Halen jamming underneath a firework display. Includes the explosive 'Up All Night' and the forthcoming single 'Hey Kid'.
